During a recent farmers market, I tried to brainstorm November cookie flavors with my husband. His response? “The flavor is obviously cranberry.” In his mind, there was nothing more to discuss.
Well! In that case, cranberry it is!
We will mail or deliver cranberry cookies to our subscribers just in time for Thanksgiving.
We make dozens of varieties of cranberry cookies, though, and I wanted to choose something extra special for November. I selected a cookie that combines local honey, warm nutmeg, and dried sweetened cranberries. I plan to substitute Wisconsin maple granulated sugar for the ordinary granulated sugar called for in the recipe.
The result is a cookie with a little sweetness from the honey and maple, a hint of warm spice, and the tartness of cranberries. It's a lovely combination of flavors for the Thanksgiving season and perfect for sharing with family and friends as we gather to give thanks.

Cookies Ship Mid-Month
November Cookie of the Month boxes will ship or go out for delivery the weekend before Thanksgiving, giving you time to share them with family and friends during the holiday. As a Wisconsin cottage bakery, Twelve Moons Baking can ship or deliver only to Wisconsin addresses.
Choose your moon phase and add something sweet to your November:
🌕 Full Moon — 18 cookies, enough to share with friends and family
🌓 Half Moon — 12 cookies to share with those closest to you
🌙 Quarter Moon — 5 or 6 cookies, or as many as we can squeeze into the box
